This Regulation establishes the use of harmonized risk indicators for assessing the risk as regards the use of pesticides. The object of these rules is to set the national system of control in relation with the rules of harmonized risk indicator based on the quantities of active substances in plant protection products that are placed on the market, also for the purpose of the submission of such data to designated European Union bodies.
This text transposes the provisions stipulated by the Commission Directive (EU) 2019/782 of 15 May 2019 amending Directive 2009/128/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the establishment of harmonized risk indicators.
