The Cabinet of Ministers, in order to encourage the use of biological protection methods in the cultivation of export-oriented agricultural products, decrees to stimulate the use of biological or crop rotation methods in the cultivation of exportable agricultural commodities. It validates the procedure for compensating applicants for a part of the costs of using the biological protection method in the cultivation of exportable agricultural commodities; the procedure for allocating a one-time subsidy at the end of the crop year, taking into account each type of crop, in order to determine the priority of the status of products with biological properties for the areas where the biological protection method was used in the protection of agricultural plants from pests, diseases and weeds; and the procedure for determining the amount of biological protection means (product) used per hectare against pests, diseases and weeds of agricultural crops based on the model technological card for the care of agricultural crops and production of agricultural commodities developed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The basic calculation amount of the subsidy to the applicant is determined in the amount of 50% of the funds spent on the purchase of biological protection means for the areas where the biological protection method is used. In this case, the remaining part of the subsidized costs will be covered by the applicants' own funds. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan is responsible for the transfer to the Ministry of Agriculture of the funds allocated to cover a part of the costs related to the purchase of biological protection means to combat pests, diseases and weeds of agricultural crops. Biological protection method shall be intended a method of combating pests, diseases and weeds of agricultural plants with biological entomophages, biological and microbiological preparations. Application for compensating part of the costs of using the biological protection method in the cultivation of exportable agricultural commodities must contain the following documentation: (a) areas where biological protection method is used (in hectares); (b) the amount of funds spent on the purchase of biological protection means (in soums), (invoice, check, etc.); (c) information (summary) on the pesticide residues in the agricultural commodities grown on the fields where the biological protection method was used and the pesticide residues in the soil of these fields, the results of the analysis of the accredited agrochemical laboratory; (d) documents confirming the export of agricultural products (export contract, cargo customs declaration, currency receipt, etc.); and (e) main account of the applicant in commercial banks. The subsidy will be transferred to the main account of applicant in commercial banks by December 1 every year.
