Purpose of the Act is to ensures animal health by implementing measures for prevention, monitoring, control and fight against diseases, zoonoses and zoonotic infectious agents in animals, in animal foods and animal products. These activities include quarantine, marking, hygienization, vaccination and destruction of animals following thorough tests, registration and certification thereof.
