This Act, which applies to Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles, establishes a Coast Guard for those territories, defines its functions and powers and provides rules relative to its functioning.
The Coast Guard shall, among other things, carry out duties of control and enforcement in the fields of fisheries, marine pollution and border control and shall operate in accordance with a policy prepared by the joint Coast Guard Commission.
