The present Ordinance implements the Federal Animal Disease Act of 1 July 1966. The text consists of 32 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: Organization (I); Trade with animals, animal products, semen and embryos (II); Disposal of animal carcasses (III); Measures to fight animal diseases (IV); Compensation payments (V); Contributions and fees (VI); Right of appeal and penalties (VII).
