The Regulation prescribes the procedures for ascertaining of groundwater resources; the procedures by which the influence of anthropogenic loads on groundwater bodies are determined; and the classes of the groundwater bodies, and the good and poor chemical quality criteria of the groundwater bodies. The document also adopts, as its annexes, environmental quality standards to be used in the evaluation of the chemical quality of groundwater; requirements for evaluation performed in case of exceedance of the environmental quality standards or the threshold values of pollutants; and requirements for determination of the threshold values of pollutants.
