This Act amends the Chemicals Act 2008 by: modifying the definition of "chemicals" so as to include a substance, mixture or article within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council and hazardous substances within the meaning of Council Directive 96/82/EC and within the meaning of Council Directive 67/548/EEC. Amendments also concern, among other things, the designation of national authorities, inspections, enforcement and offences.
