This Directive lays down some amendments to Council Directive 90/496/EEC on nutrition labelling for foodstuffs. In particular, it replaces the text in Annex I, which lays down the list of vitamins and minerals which may be declared and their recommended daily allowances (RDAs). Furthermore, it inserts new Annex II, which concerns the definition of the material constituting fibre and methods of analysis.
