According to Regulation (EC) No. 2100/94, where a Common plant variety right is granted, the Community Plant Variety Office shall approve, for the variety in question, the variety denomination proposed by the applicant, if it considers that such denomination is suitable. The present Regulation establishes detailed rules as to the application of certain criteria set out by article 63 of Regulation (EC) No. 2100/94 for the eligibility of variety denominations.
