This Decision, consisting of five Chapters, establishes the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform Labelling activity for Food Product. The Decision sets out rules, regulations and standards related to the labelling and on food labels for food products. It aims to monitor, inspect labels and food to encourage firms in producing food to grow. As an output, a tool for management, monitoring production, processing, import, export, export, distribution and storage of food products in Lao P.D.R. It also aims at protecting the health of consumers by providing accurate information on food labelling/packaging and machine packaging.
