This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of four articles and one Annex, lays down measures for the prevention against harmful organisms which are: (1) compliance with rotational crops in different agro-technical requirements; (2) the use of appropriate agro-technical measures, especially plowing, stubble, sowing date; (3) the use of resistant or tolerant varieties, standard or certified seed or propagating material; (4) the use of balanced fertilization, liming and irrigation or drainage; (5) preventing the spread of harmful organisms by hygiene measures, such as regular cleaning of machinery and equipment; (6) protection and enhancement of important beneficial organisms particularly appropriate to plant protection measures or the utilization of ecological infrastructures.
