This Decree-Law is composed of three Chapters divided in nine articles. It aims at granting proper implementation to EC Regulation No. 1935/2004 regulating materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. In particular, it regulates the competence in this field of the Authorioty for Food Safety and the sanctions applicable.
