This Decree applies to the identification of equine animals born or released for free circulation in Hungary, to the notifiation of imported equine animals, to the use of identification document and to the registration of breeding and housing information. Articles 3-5 settle permitted identification methods and other rules if identification. Unidentified animals can not be circulated. Article 6 contains rules concerning horse passport. Articels 7-11 lays down rules regarding the obligations of the keeper, slaughter houses, veterinarians, stations for mare covering and passport emitting office. Articles 12-13 contains rules regarding the data base of the emmitting office and the central data base. Inspections and sanctions are addressed in Article 14.
