This Decree applies to keepers of poultry (chicken, turkey, duck, goose, guinea-fowl, ostrich, emu) registered in the National Database, to persons and entities involved in the operation of the Poultry Information System and to its operation. Besides the documentations foreseen by other regulations, animal keepers must keep also an up-to-dated register of animals and eggs according to the provisions of Article 3. Documents of transport are ruled in Article 4. For the purpose of identification and traceability of animals and for monitoring of supports, a national database, forming part of the National Animal Husbandry Databank, must be established and operated.
