This Regulation places restrictions on the discharge of household and industrial waste water and certain substances. Discharge of water from drainage water purification plants shall only take place if the plant has enough capacity and effective working of the plant can be guaranteed (art. 2). As a rule it is forbidden to discharge the substances remaining after purification (art. 3). Articles 4 to 7 provide for the measurement and control of discharged water. Conditions may be attached by the Water Quality Conservator to permits granted for discharge of urban waste water (arts. 8-10). This Decree implements certain provisions of EC Council Directive 91/271/EEC. (14 articles completed by 5 Annexes)
