This Decree lays down rules relative to trade in and labelling of certain sugar products listed in article 1 of the Decree. Article 2 prohibits the distribution on the market of such sugar products if they are not conform the rules prescribed by this Decree. Articles 3 to 16 lay down labelling requirement for specific products such as various types of sugar, dextrose, glucose syrup, etc. Article 17 prescribes methods of the Dutch Institute of Agricultural Technology and the Sugar Industry and ICUMSA as the standard for examination of the colour of sugar.
