The Cabinet of Ministers, with a view of increasing preparedness and alertness of means and forces of the State System for Prevention and Response to Emergency Situations, as well as timely warning and informing the population about risk and emergencies, decrees to set up Automated early warning system of risks or outbreak of emergency situations assigning thereto the following tasks: (a) providing comprehensive automation of technological processes for collecting, processing, storing and issuing information on risks or emergencies, as well as real-time monitoring of all procedures for warning and informing the population about the current situation, ways of protecting and actions of the population in emergency situations; (b) warning and informing the population about risks or emergencies; and (c) alerting and informing the governing bodies, managing bodies of the State System for Prevention and Response to Emergency Situations in the Republic of Uzbekistan, specially trained forces and means designed and allocated (assigned) to eliminate emergency situations on the national territory.
