This General Technical Regulation on safety of veterinary drugs and fodder additives establishes requirements for the safety of veterinary drugs and fodder additives in the process of their development, production (manufacturing), labelling, packaging, storage, trade, circulation and destruction. The objects of regulation shall be veterinary drugs and fodder additives registered and authorized for use in accordance with the established procedure by the State Veterinary Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Registered veterinary drugs must have registration certificate. The list of indicators of chemical and biological safety, which are subject to mandatory determination when assessing the compliance of veterinary drugs, is inserted in the Annex. Maximum limits for indicators of chemical and biological safety are established in regulatory documents. The Regulation sets forth safety requirements for raw materials used for manufacturing of veterinary drugs, manufacturing process, labelling, transport, storage and trade thereof. It also determines indices of chemical and biological safety of fodder additives.
