These Regulations amend the principal Regulations 1999 to 2000, so as to give effect to Council Directive 2000/16/EC. The definition "place on the market" is replaced by the definition "putting into circulation" or "circulation". The amendment of regulation 8 concerns specifications of a declaration referred to in Regulation 6 (1) (f) or Regulation 7 (1) (g) or a record under Regulation 11.
