The Act provides for the extension of the British Fishery Limits to 200 nautical miles and in connection with that extension makes further provision for fishing in the sea. Section 2 prescribes rules for the access of foreign fishing vessels. Section 3 substitutes section 4 of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967 concerning licensing of fishing boats.
