This Government Ordinance, which is composed of 14 articles and three Annexes, concerns the registration of varieties of agricultural produces. It specifies those groups of agricultural produces which must be registered; and those groups of agricultural produces which must be evaluated before the registration. Further provisions deal with the examination of varieties and reproduction material; conditions for examining genetically modified varieties for the purpose of registration and keeping documentation; registration of national varieties as genetic sources of plants and their use.
