The purpose of the present Law is to enforce the Federal Nature Protection Act (BGBl. I p. 2542) of 29 July 2009, and to transpose into the Land Hessen the Council Directive 85/337/EEC on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment of 27 June 1985, the Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the conservation of wild birds of 30 November 2009 and the Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and o
