These Regulations provide for a system of fines to be paid on the spot in the area of inland fisheries to be administered by the Regional Fisheries Boards. The Regulations make section 25 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act 1999 (No. 35 of 1999) applicable to offences under section 24(6) of the Act in respect of a contravention of regulation 3, 10(3), 10(4), 10(5), 10(6), 10(7), 11(2), 13, 14, 15 or 19 of the Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme Regulations 2005 (S.I. No. 204 of 2005).
