Article 2 of Law No.754 XII on nature protection shall be amended to add the following wording: Protected areas shall include state reserves, landscape reserves, biosphere reserves, national parks, conservation areas and protected areas of international significance. Article 64 of Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Water and Water Use shall be amended to add the following wording: Sport and artisanal fishing shall be auithorized in waterbodies except for those located on the territory of protected areas, national parks and state biosphere reserves. Article 11 of Law No. 543-I of 1997 on protection and usage of vegetation shall be amended to add the following wording: Use of vegetation in protected areas, state biosphere reserves and national parks shall be authorized exclusively for scientific research purposes. Collection and harvesting of endangered and protected plant species shall be prohibited. Article 15 of Law No. 770-1 on forest shall be amended to add the following wording: Protection forest shall be classified as follows: (a) forest protecion belts; (b) erosion-protective belts; (c) town parks and recreational forest; (c) sanitary forest; (d) protected areas; (e) national parks; (f) biosphere reserves; (g) protected areas of international significance; and (h) forests of scientific or historical value.
