The present Decree, by amending articles 78 and 81 of the Food Code, establishes standards, composition, labelling, commercial names and marketing for spreadable fats (made of milk and milk products) in line with the prescriptions of Commission Regulations 2991/94, 577/97 and 1278/97 which lay down detailed rules on spreadable fats and on the protection of designations used in their placement in the market.
