These Regulations provide for the application of Community legislation regarding the marketing of olive oil. They designate the authorities that are to enforce the Regulations and prescribe offences and penalties for the contravention of Community Regulations regarding the designation of origin, packing and labelling of oil. The Regulations also provide with respect to the approval by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of establishments for the analysis of oil.
