The Order sets regulations on assessment criteria for municipal projects regarding restoring watercourses. It applies to the improvement of stream conditions in order to restore areas allocated for the passage of migrating fish, as well as to the improvement of aquatic flora and fauna in order to ensure ecological status of watercourses. The Danish Nature Agency shall grant financial subsidy to watercourse restoring projects in line with assessment criteria which include an indicative budget (detailed in this Order s Annex 1), and the protection of animal and/or plant species and habitat in line with Natura2000 designated areas, and in adherence to Annex 3 and Annex 5 of the Nature Protection Act.
