The Order applies to the administrative operation of local action groups as institution partnership between local authorities, organizations, associations, businesses and citizens with the purpose of aiming to a local development strategy of fishery and aquaculture development. The existing local action groups shall manage parts of the Danish fisheries development program for the period 2007-2013. In order to follow this strategic planning, these institutions shall have the responsibility to carry out tasks of monitoring, coordinating and administering. The Ministry of Housing, Urban and Rural Affairs shall grant subsidies to local action groups to cover expenditures related to their administrative and coordination tasks.
