This Order applies to the issuance of mandatory approvals of construction products pursuant to the Building Act's article 28 and building Code provisions. This to ensure the quality of drinking water in accordance to EU Directives on water quality and monitoring of water supply systems. The approval set out in this Order includes factory-made construction products which are connected to drinking water supply to end-consumers, included in or connected to the fixed water installations affecting drinking water quality, and used in connection with the settlement, in accordance to article 2 of the Building Act.
The Order consists of 8 Chapters and 3 Appendices: Scope (1); Administrative approval (2); Conditions for labeling, marketing and sales (3); Conditions for approval (4); Implementation of supervision in the approval period (5); Issuance, renewal, review and withdrawal of authorizations (6); Monitoring the approving Secretariat (7); Administrative provisions (8); Entry into force and transitional provisions (9).
