This Government Ordinance lays down, in accordance with European Union regulations, some amendments and addenda to the Ordinance on the protection of animals kept for farming purposes. In particular the present Ordinance specifies requirements for livestock farming which relate to the staff, record-keeping, freedom of movement of animals, construction and housing, animals kept outside buildings, automatic and mechanical equipment, feed and water. The Ordinance provides also minimum requirements for housing of cattle, sheep and goats.
