This Government Ordinance, which is composed of 48 articles and six Annexes, lays down: (a) health requirements for placing aquaculture animals and products on the market, their import and transit; (b) minimum preventive measures aimed at increasing awareness and preparedness of the authorities and enterprises dealing with fish farming for animal diseases of aquaculture animals; (c) minimum control measures for outbreaks of certain diseases in aquatic animals, or the suspicion of their occurrence.
