This Law regulates patents. Its purpose is to promote the activity of inventors and the industrial development of the State by ensuring the protection of the rights of the inventor and the owner of the patent. The subject of an invention may be a device, method, substance, composition of substances or biological material.
The scope of this Law shall be promotion of patent activity and ensuring protection of intellectual property and the rights of the patent owners. Objects covered by patent shall include substances, composition of substances and biological materials. Patents shall be issued for biotechnological inventions containing biological materials extracted from natural environment or obtained by technical means even if it occurred previously in the environment and if it is applicable to plant and animal sp
