The President, with a view of increasing the level of state control over the quality, safety and rational use of state grain resources and products of its processing, as well as to improve the activity of the State Grain Inspection decrees to determine the main tasks of the State Grain Inspection as follows: (a) implementation of state control over rational use for the intended purpose, ensuring appropriate storage ensuring conservation and the reduction of losses of state resources of grain and products of its processing, the correct assessment of quantity and quality of purchased in state resources of grain and seeds, pulses, oilseeds and accounts for them on the grain-producing, grain-receiving and grain processing enterprises; (b) systematic monitoring of compliance with the requirements of regulatory and technical documents in the field of technical regulation for grain and products of its processing, as well as methods for testing their quality in acceptance, storage, processing and export-import operations; (c) the mandatory state inspection of the quality of grain and the products of its processing in the course of transportation on the national territory, performance of export-import operations with the issuance of grain quality certificates; (d) provision of methodical and practical assistance to grain producers and grain storage and processing enterprises; and (e) dispute settlement within it sphere of competence regarding quality of grain and products of its processing destined for internal consumption and for export-import operations.
