This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of five articles, lays down detailed requirements for designation of competent authorities and program to control salmonella and food-borne zoonotic agents. The objective of this Regulation is to ensure proper measures to be taken to control salmonella as well as other zoonotic agents at all stages of production, processing and distribution, particularly at the level of primary production, with a view to reduce the risk they pose to public health.
