This Regulation establishes the list of measurement points for monitoring over the concentration of air pollutants such as: sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and oxides of nitrogen, particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5), lead, benzene, carbon monoxide, ground-level ozone and ozone precursor, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, nickel, benzo (a) pyrene and other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the air.
This Regulation hereby officially determines the location of measuring stations in the state network for permanent monitoring of air quality in zones and its agglomerations on the Croatian territory.
This Regulation introduces in the legal system of the Croatian Republic the following EU directives: Directive 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2008 on air quality and cleaner air for Europe; Directive 2004/107/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 December 2004 on arsenic, cadmium, mercury, nickel and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the air.
