This Regulation of the Minister of Health establishes: (1) purpose of foodstuffs intended for particular nutritional uses specified in art. 24 par. 2 points 1-4 of the Act on safety of food and nutrition; (2) detailed requirements for foodstuffs of particular nutritional uses, in particular their composition; (3) the list of chemical substances added to foodstuffs of particular nutritional uses; (4) detailed requirements for labeling and advertising of foodstuffs of particular nutritional uses and subjects used for infant feeding; (5) requirements for informational and educational materials concerning infant feeding and conditions of the distribution of these materials by producers; (6) conditions of marketing of foodstuffs of particular nutritional uses intended directly for final consumer without package. This Regulation is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Requirements for preparations of infant foodstuffs (Sec. 2); Requirements for supplementing foodstuffs including processed cereal products and other foodstuffs for infants and little children (Sec. 3); Requirements for foodstuffs used in diets with limited amount of energy to reduce body weight (Sec. 4); Requirements for special dietetic foodstuffs used for medical purposes (Sec. 5); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 6).
