This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 23 articles, sets out the detailed contents of the report on the impact of the planned activity on the environment specified in accordance with the legislation of the European Community. These provisions apply to all reports on the effects of planned activity on the environment which are made for procedures for which it is necessary to carry out an environmental impact assessment (EIA) and obtain environmental approval. The report must include, in particular, the information on: (1) the nature and characteristics of the intervention, which is the subject of an environmental impact assessment; (2) main alternative solutions and the reasons for the selection of submitted solutions; (3) existing state of the environment in which the intervention takes place or parts of the environment where the intervention would have a significant effect; (4) possible effects of intervention on the environment or its components and human health; (5) measures to prevent, reduce or eliminate the negative effects on the environment and human health and the main alternatives that were considered for these measures.
