This Act establishes the Vanuatu Agriculture College and the Vanuatu Agriculture College Council, defines the functions and powers of the College and Council and the internal organization of the College. The purpose of the college is to be the Centre for the training of farmers and acquisition of farming technologies and skills for enhancing agriculture production and, in doing so, to contribute to the economic and social development of Vanuatu. There shall be a Farm Manager who shall be responsible for the operations of the college farm and must ensure that the operations of the farm are in accordance with any business plan approved by the Council.
