According to articles 17 to 20 of the Waste Disposal Act 2000 (BGBl. I No. 102/2000) the present Ordinance lays down detailed regulations dealing with general obligations for waste plants and waste collectors, such as recording, notifying and registration of waste. The text deals with issues such as general obligations of recording, simplified recording, obligation to notify dangerous waste on behalf of the waste collector. In this connexion article 5 establishes that whoever is in possession of hazardous waste has to issue relating accompanying documents as to kind, quantity, etc. of such waste. Articles 7 to 9 provide regulations as to obligation to register waste, transport of waste, transport of waste from one site to another, project for change to electronic data base. The text consists of 14 articles and 2 Annexes. Annex 1 concerns production, manipulation and treatment procedures, and Annex 2 reproduces the accompanying form for hazardous waste.
