This Order of the Minister of the Environment, Community and Local Government provides for the transfer of all the contracts listed in the schedule to this Order from the water services authorities to Irish Water in accordance with section 14 of the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013. Every right and liability transferred by section 14 to Irish Water may, on and after the day on which the right or liability stood transferred, be sued on, recovered or enforced by or against Irish Water in its own name, and it shall not be necessary for Irish Water or the water services authority concerned to give notice of its transfer to any person.
