These Regulations enforce the Community provisions set out in regulation 2 relative to regulation of the wine market and the control on the oenological practices and processes and quality of wine. They make provision for the establishment of organoleptic panels for the assessment of wines, provide for inspection and design enforcing authorities.
The Regulations contain provisions concerning, among other things, geographical indications, control on the movement of wine and examinations, and define various offences.
