الصناعة هي مجموعة من المنشآت المنخرطة في أنشطة اقتصادية متماثلة أو متشابهة. وتقوم الصناعات بإنتاج السلع لبيعها توطئة لاسترداد إجمالي تكلفة الإنتاج. ويمكن أن تقوم الصناعة الواحدة بإنتاج سلع كثيرة مختلفة.
