The Cabinet of Ministers, with a view of provision of lemon growers with alternative energy heating systems and supporting planting of new lemon groves and purchase of lemon seedlings, decrees to cover the costs of alternative energy sources (relative to natural gas) purchased by lemon-growing agricultural organizations up to 30% of the cost of alternative energy devices purchased by lemon-growing agricultural organizations through Agency for Horticulture and Greenhouse Development under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan allocated from the Greenhouse Development Fund. Allocation of the aforesaid funds shall be subject to the conclusion of subsidy agreement between the Agency and the applicant (agricultural organization). Alternative energy device shall be intended a device that generates electricity and heat from renewable energy sources - sunlight, wind, water and natural gas. Applicants are required to grow lemons in a greenhouse with alternative energy devices for five years and keep them in good condition.
