The President, with a view of further development of lemon growing in the country, expanding scientific research, increasing production of high-quality industrial and export-oriented lemons based on the use of advanced and modern resource-saving technologies, as well as widespread introduction of state support mechanisms, decrees to transform Association of Lemon Producers and Exporters into the Association of Lemon Producers and Exporters into Association of Producers and Exporters of Citrus, Subtropical and Tropical plants. The aforesaid Association shall perform the following tasks: (a) development and communication to manufacturers of products of recommendations on planting of citrus, subtropical and tropical plantations on conditions of cooperation; (b) creation of special nurseries by growing certified and guaranteed lemon seedlings, and establishing mutual cooperation with producers of lemon seedlings; (c) modernization of existing greenhouses, as well as the creation of collections of high-yielding export-oriented lemons and model lemon plantations; (d) certification of citrus, subtropical and tropical plants, export and import products; (e) supply of seedlings of citrus, subtropical, tropical and ornamental plants, as well as flowers and greenery crops; (f) providing producers with mineral fertilizers and chemicals; (g) processing of citrus, subtropical and tropical plants, introduction and maintenance of new innovative technologies; and (h) preparation of videos and special programs about foreign technologies, achievements in science and production, as well as innovations in the development of the aforesaid field.
