This Decree of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture sets out measures to reduce the risk of adverse effects associated with floods and regulates: (a) content and method of processing river basin plans and flood risk management plans; (b) content of basic and additional measures for water protection according to the Water Act; (c) details of the stages of processing draft plans; (d) method and form of processing preliminary flood risk assessment; (e) method of determining areas with a significant flood risk; (f) content and method of processing flood hazard maps, flood risk maps and forms of their publication; (g) method of making available preparatory works, draft river basin plans and draft flood risk management plans for the active involvement of water users and the public. The Annexes specify: the basic content of the national river basin plan (Annex 1), list of maps in the river basin plans (Annex 2), the basic contents of the sub-basin plan (Annex 3), basic content of the documentation of areas with a significant flood risk (Annex 4), and the basic content of the flood risk management plan (Annex 5).
