These Measures are enacted to further standardize the monitoring of grain quality and safety risks, strengthen the control and management of quality and safety risks, and ensure the national grain quality and safety. The Measures consist of 43 articles divided into 6 Chapters: General provisions; Monitoring plan; Sampling and inspection; Application of results; Supervision and administration; Supplementary provisions.
The main contents of risk monitoring shall include: routine quality, storage quality and internal quality, pollution of heavy metals, mycotoxins and other harmful substances caused by environmental pollution, abnormal climate or improper storage, as well as food safety conditions such as pesticide residues applied in grain production and storage.
