This Government Ordinance, which is composed of 11 articles and one Annex, establishes the conditions for the implementation of animal welfare measures, following the directly applicable regulations of the European Union and in accordance with the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union in the Czech Republic. The subsidy can be granted to the following measures: (a) improvement of the stable environment in the breeding of dairy cattle for dairy cows and calves of dairy cattle up to two months of age; (b) increasing the lying area in the breeding of dairy cows; (c) ensuring access to the paddock for dry cows; (d) improvement of living conditions in pig breeding for sows; (f) increasing the area for weaned piglets.
