The present Regulation, adopted by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, applies to the production and marketing of plants covered by Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 of 26 October 2016 and supplementary provisions thereto, as well as to protect against the spread of certain plant pests. Registration of businesses under Article 65 of Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 should be carried out with the Danish Agriculture Agency. The authorization to issue and provide plants and plant products with plant passports under Article 89 of Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 shall also be given by the Danish Agriculture Agency. The Regulation lays down the requirements for authorizing the sale of plants and plant products nationally produced. Reporting obligations of certain diseases are also included.
