This Order sets regulations for the protection of plants against the spreading of certain plant pests, in order to ensure their reproduction quality. It specifies pests to avoid and ensures that commercial companies follow authorization and registration requirement criteria for trading, labelling and packaging. Plants defined here include seeds, flowers, botanic fruits, CAC (Conformitas Agraria Communitatis) material and potatoes. List of Appendices.
Appendix 1 - Pests to be avoided.
Appendix 2 - Pests, which may not be found in certain plants.
Appendix 3 - Requirements for the production and sale of plants.
Appendix 4 - Specific criteria for plant organisms in production sites.
Appendix 5 - Storage of pre-nuclear plants, production and storage of nuclear plants, elite plants and certified plants.
Appendix 6 - Labelling and packaging.
Appendix 7 - Duties for registered suppliers.
Appendix 8 - Species to be grown on land which must be examined for potato cyst nematodes prior to each culture in accordance to article 12.
