This Act amends 17 points of the Animal Protection Act and, in particular, establishes cases when killing of animals is allowed: (1) slaughtering of livestock and killing wild birds and mammals kept for meat or fur; (2) fishing in accordance with legislation on fishery; (3) necessity of immediate killing; (4) activities necessary to prevent serious sanitary danger to human or animals; (5) killing animals posing a direct threat to human or other animals, if there are no other means; (6) hunting and reduction of wild game; (7) killing blind litters.
